New F-SMA connector for medical technology
Amphenol Precision Optics offers the F-SMA connector with free standing fibres for high performance applications. The key aspect of the connector is its removable protective sleeve, which allows you to terminate the connector or fibre using a standard polishing process without the use of wax or other tools. By that it is ensured that there are no residuals (e.g.: polishing wax, adhesive,…) around the fiber in the beam coupling area.
