The production of high-quality enameling dies is a sophisticated process. Starting with the procurement of materials through the entire chain of production processes to the final surface treatment. The enameling dies are made of corrosion-resistant aluminum, brass, Arcap or stainless steel with a wear-resistant tungsten carbide insert or polycrystalline diamond core (PCD). This is specially sintered and ensures an optimal coating application due to perfect geometry of the uniform enameling application. Amphenol Precision Optics GmbH uses state-of-the-art CNC processing and production machines for the precision manufacture of individual components, such as the dies body, and ensures the quality of the manufactured products through continuous quality controls.
